In the late 80s she embarked on a musical career. Her debut release, ‘Where Did The Love Go’, “Tears on my pillow”was produced by Donovan Germain who also produced the combination hit, ‘Want It’ with Buju Banton. In addition to promoting her solo career Gittens was also employed as a backing vocalist for artists such as Sting (Police), Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear and the celebrated West African reggae star, Alpha Blondy were all studio vocals.

Rush The High Priest Reggae ABOUT ME Rush The High Priest, born Jeffery Nana Kweku Coleman, is a Ghanaian hip hop/Afropop song writer and singer. Born and raised by Christian parents Mr. Robby Robbertson and Mrs. Jacqueline Nkrumah, Rush The High Priest always makes it a point to inculcate Christian doctrines into his lyrics no matter the genre of music he is doing. Angie Angel Reggae ABOUT ME BORN: Angelique Cameron, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Artists such as Sister Nancy and Lady Anne indisputably proved that women were equally adept as DJs in the dancehall. The aspiring ragga queen, Angie Angel, embarked on her career with producers Oswald Thomas and Philip Morgan. The duo released her debut, ‘Settle Yuself’, on their Black Solidarity label in 1987. The release was well received although it was with Patrick Roberts of the Shocking Vibes crew that she gained international notoriety. With Roberts she released ‘Agony’, which went platinum when it was given a jungle remix in the UK.
